Season of Temples
The Country Meadows Ward invites you to participate in a Season of Temples from August through October. Our focus will be on preparing to enter the Temple and completing ordinances and participating in Temple related activities for all members of the Ward. This includes Primary children on up. Though we have ideas for how you can participate, you are not limited by them or by our suggested time frames.
Our goals are four fold:
Update or obtain a Temple Recommend
Log on to FamilySearch
Learn how to use Ordinances Ready
Attend the temple and complete temple related activities
Beginning in August our focus will be on preparing ourselves to enter the temple. We have compiled a list of suggestions to help you and your family prepare their hearts to participate in temple work. In September our focus will shift to going to the temple and completing ordinances. Our goal here is to do as many ordinances as we are able-- essentially creating a Ward on the other side of the veil!
Each of these weeks will focus on doing different ordinances but you do not need to feel limited by them and can do whichever ordinances whenever you are able!
August - Readying a People
September 1-16 - Baptisms
September 17-30 - Initiatories
October 1-14 - Endowments
October 15-28 - Sealings

How to Use Ordinances Ready
Download the FamilySearch Family Tree app and sign in.
You should be on the home screen.
iPhone Users: Tap the temple icon at the bottom..
Android Users: Tap the menu bar in the upper-left corner. Then tap on the temple.
If you already have work reserved for your ancestors, you’ll see them listed here.
Tap on the green Ordinances Ready button. A white box labeled Select Ordinance comes up.
Pick which ordinance type you want. A list of ancestors will pop up. These are all people who need your help completing ordinances in the temple.
Choose whether to print cards for your relatives or write down the Family Ordinance Request (FOR) number for each ordinance your ancestor needs to have completed. You can bring either to the temple.
